Family, Maternity, & Newborn Photography

I was a photographer long before I became a mother, but my transition into motherhood has given me so much utter love and tenderness toward the welcoming of new life, the growing of families, and the preserving of the moments that so quickly pass. I’m leaning into a documentary approach to family photos and loving it.

Since experiencing firsthand the fleeting nature of parenthood, my mission is to press pause on your smallest, sweetest moments, in an environment where you can be fully present and natural with your loved ones. I will do my best to simply show up, step back, and tell the story of your family with gentle guidance when needed. I will never ask you or your children to do things you don’t feel comfortable with.

Baby Duo

Discounted maternity + newborn sessions when booked at the same time. We will discuss logistics of when and where as your due date approaches, as well as postpartum. Requires a 50% deposit.

Birth Photography

The answer is yes, I can do birth photography! I love birth. (: While I have birthed two babies of my own, I have photographed only one birth, so the realm of birth photography is still somewhat new to me but definitely one I’m interested in. Because of this, my prices are not firm and I would love for us to open up a dialogue to arrange something for your birth story! You can see a sample of my work below.

FAQs

  • An extended family session includes more than just your nuclear family. For example, multiple households or more than two generations (you + your kids).

    When charging for extended family session, I take into account how many individuals will be at the session as well as the amount of time and type of photos you’re looking for. Reach out on my contact page about family photos and let’s set something up!

  • I will upload your final edited photos to an online gallery where you will be able to mark your favorites, download, share, and order print products.

  • Depending on how busy the season is, my session turnaround is around 4 weeks.

  • Absolutely! Your gallery will include a shop that has a variety of prints, albums, and frames available.

  • Usually a full family gallery is somewhere between 75-100 photos.

  • I will be keeping an eye on the forecast. If the weather conditions aren’t ideal, we will be in touch about a reschedule, or possibly moving your session to an indoor location.
